What to Expect

Workshops and retreats with Tewkesbury Yoga are thoughtfully structured to combine movement, breathwork, guided reflection and stillness. Whether a half-day workshop or a full weekend retreat, you’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace and listen deeply to your body and breath.

Each event is themed, allowing us to explore a specific aspect of yoga in greater depth — such as:

  • Breath awareness and prāṇāyāma

  • Postural alignment and functional movement

  • Mindfulness and self-enquiry

  • Seasonal wellbeing and rest practices

These experiences are suitable for students of all levels, including those new to yoga.

Our workshops and retreats take place in a variety of settings, from our peaceful Garden Yoga Studio in Tewkesbury to local venues and countryside retreat spaces across the region.

Workshops are usually held on weekends or weekday evenings and may run for 2 to 3 hours.
Retreats may be day-long, weekend, or longer, with options for residential stays depending on the event.
